Hi Colleen,

Thanks for letting me know about the undelivered email. I checked and it was sent at 12:06 am. You might wanna check your SPAM email and UN-spam the SENDER so it doesn't happen again. If you still don't get it, I will send a link.

Last week, there was a major problem. They thought I was spamming and I had to clear that up. If you ever miss an edition, I eventually post it on travelingboy.com. But please do continue to inform me when you do not receive your TGIF mail. I'm still testing this new program.

The pretty remnants of life are just temporary beauty. All the designer clothes, jewelry and accessories are elegant, but of what value?

Will people say, Raoul was an elegant dressed man? Jackie a beautiful woman who wore her designer dresses and jewelry like a model?

Raoul, servant of God. Child of a Loving God. A Father, A Friend, a Husband and a Son.

The joy of life is not in the compliments of others. The joy of life is our connection with our Lord and the ability to be a good person and servant of the Lord and all the beauty that comes from our souls and our hearts.

That’s just me.

So happy to see your email in my inbox. Talk later.

Just checking to see if you're still doing a weekly newsletter?? I didn't get one last week or today. I know you have a life outside of doing a weekly letter, but I've also noticed on your letters you've mentioned emailing you if we don't receive one: hence the email.

I hope all is well with you and yours, brother.

What does money have to do with happiness? Probably very little.

The pocketbook can blind us to what real happiness or joy is. A nice day with our wives or family. Good health. The ability to listen to music or play music.

My family was never what you would call, “rich.”
We were middle class.

The depression in the 30’s brought my Father’s family from Pennsylvania. My Mother’s family was mainly from Illinois or Wisconsin.

We have circuit riders in our ancestry. Pastors that would ride horses to school houses and other places to worship. That’s from the Norwegian side.

My maternal grandfather’s family had some notable relatives.

Their name was Staegemann. German for “Stage Man.” They owned an opera house in Deuseldorf. Where Brahms first played his, “Lullaby.”

No real money. But does the Almighty Dollar or Peso or any other currency bring true happiness.

You know where my mind is? Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is our Loving Benefactor.

TGIF. Mr. Pascual.
