You never heard of Los Lobos? They had a bunch of great songs and a great sound.

I’m glad you are still playing, you talented %&$#@. Ventura Highway was one of my Faves.

And you never know who you may come across in the LA Basin.

I know guitar is a great instrument and bonding instrument for you. I always regretted that I didn’t take guitar lessons. I took piano lessons and trumpet lessons at school.

The reason I played the trumpet was my band instructor, Mr. Metzger told my parents that I had the mouth for it. I actually wanted to play the flute.

When I was young. Al Hirt and Doc Severinsen from Johnny Carson’s show were the top players.

During the 1967 Super Bowl they both played together. Doc had a silver trumpet that I thought was cool.

America was segregated. Louis Armstrong was of course a superior player. Jazz music was still called Race music. Chicago blues musicians, like Muddy Waters. Howlin’ Wolf were not mainstream at all.

I remember the 1968 Democratic Convention and the rise of Jesse Jackson and Operation Push.

After the deaths of Martin Luther King and Malcolm X, the black community looked towards figures like Jesse Jackson for leadership.

I know that I am rambling on here.

Don’t call yourself an Asian Guy. At least call yourself a gentleman.

I never liked the words, guy, dude or man. Sir, Madam, Mr. Mrs.

I am a Midwest native at heart.

Hi Raoul:
You’ll do well when you get to perform with this other musician. I know how you felt when you met him because I’m working with a client who’s service will be on the 22nd. He’s one of the most godly men I’ve ever met. He adores his wife and has already created the design in the inscription for his wife and it’s beautiful.
