I have been on Retreats up at Mater DelaRosa in Sierra Madre and Mountain as well. They are wonderful to attend .

I enjoyed your description of the difference in women’s and men’s Retreats.

I worried about you when I heard a Bus crashed returning from a retreat in the mountains of San Bernardino County
But I remembered you were driving.

My son and his Family live in Yucaipa so I’ve been to Oak Glen! Take Care.

I don’t like the word retreat, it sounds like you are going backwards.

I believe spending time with people of different backgrounds is important. We can get complacent with a small circle of friends or family.

Reaching out from your comfort zone can bring Scripture into a different focus and understanding.

We are all creatures of habit. Certain habits are necessary. Prayer time, Scripture time. Regular attendance at church.

You know a bit about my journey of faith. From studying Asian philosophies to my current time of Christian life.

Some people don’t understand why I send Bible verses in the early morning hours.

I am eager to share scripture. Maybe I should do that at a different time. It’s something I am thinking about and trying trying to figure out.

Time for prayer for myself.

I am glad you got out and met different people and exchanged thoughts and experiences.
