I know Marcos was a dictator. For some reason, in many Asian countries, the Strong Man of leadership appeals and is expected.

In South Korea in the 1960’s Park Chung Hee was a kind of dictator.

He was from Busan in the South. In Korean, there are different dialects. Different language in many ways.

I don’t know if in Tagalog, there are different dialects or accents.

People from Seoul and other cities look down on The Busan dialect.

After President Park, in the 70’s, Chung Doo Hwan was another strong man.

Both were military leaders. They transferred into the Government.

South Koreans look down at the Communist leaders of North Korea, but in many ways, the Military Strong Men are not that much different.

Not the ideology of Marx, but similar.

I remember when I was younger, the scandal of Imelda’s shoe collection was a big deal.

Sounds like I am giving a lecture.

Anyway, good job sir.
