We are all lucky in picking the right Partner for Life. Your upbringing sounds like me! The High School I Attended was Boys in one Wing and Girls in the other Wing.
In a food fight one day I threw a pear and it landed in a girls hair, She was furious but at the school dance She asked me to dance.
She became my steady Girl Friend.
Married for 64 years, 5 kids, 10 Grands and 3 great Grands. She passed away a year ago! The Memories and Love she ravished on me sustains me perpetually! I will look forward to sharing eternity with her when it’s my turn. Take care and Enjoy the Blessings of Matrimony

I had no interaction whatsoever with the opposite sex when I was a teenager. Too shy and afraid of being talked to.

Especially, after my parents divorced and I was in rural Illinois with my dog Patches.

I found I was good at Tennis. Beat a pro one time. But, you know what happened to my knee from tennis.

I digress. Valentine’s Day is an American advertising holiday. I’m sorry, but candy makers are the ones behind it.
