You mentioned Korean people. They use titles or full names.

For example, I am a Deacon at church. I am Larry Jib Sa Nim. Nim is an honorific. Like Mr.

A Pastor is not referred to by name. Mog Sa Nim.

Korean society is very concerned about proper treatment and care in showing respect.

I am sure Filipinos have a similar feeling about this.

I am sure you were a cute Kid. Pee Wee.

I know how hard you work on this.

I applaud you and I know that your health has been impacted recently.

Mine too. I am going to begin aquatic physical therapy on my back.

I was evaluated yesterday and my therapist said my back is very weak. No muscle tone.

Yes, Pee Wee, we are all getting older, but it’s a blessing to still be here.

* * * *
Korean names are a very sensitive subject. Do you know that during the Japanese Colonial Period, they made the Koreans take on Japanese names?

The honorific Nim that I mentioned is a part of the history of Korea.

God is Hananim. Hana is the number 1. So, God is the one. Prayers often start with Hananim Abochi. God the Father.

Jesus is Yesunim. Yesu, the Latin for Jesus.

Koreans are very proud of their language. King Sejong created the Korean alphabet. Hangul. Koreans have a holiday to celebrate their language.

I will end this email with Korean and then translate.

사랑합니다감사합니다
축복합니다

래리 집사님

Love, Thankfulness
Blessings
