Please move on to the jokes if this isn&#8217;t &#8220;your thing.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">I used to wonder why people blindly followed the prodding of the Pharisees and the chief priests. After all the miracles that Jesus performed, the teaching and the compassion he displayed \u2026 why did the crowd cry out for Jesus\u2019 crucifixion. But the more I compare the politics of today with the politics during Jesus\u2019 time, the more I understand the dynamics of what went on in the first century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today we\u2019re seeing the unraveling of censored data and testimonies that authenticate the claims of our favorite conspiracy theorists. Just recently they opened up the Pandora\u2019s box of the JFK assassination. Investigators are still rummaging through the mountain of evidence but for now more and more evidence is coming out to prove that Lee Harvey Oswald was just the <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/-8DGv6KSBZI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fall guy<\/a> of the deep state. Currently there are reports of other shenanigans. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=h4UKH0MJGvA\">January 6<\/a> insurrection was manipulated by <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/oksVQrXRAkE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">high government officials<\/a> and the FBI. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statnews.com\/2024\/08\/20\/joe-biden-dnc-chicago-presidential-debate-dementia-delirium\/\">former president<\/a> was already in <em>La La Land<\/em> and the White House staff and the <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/usaid-funding-trump-musk-misinformation-c544a5fa1fe788da10ec714f462883d1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">press<\/a> lied to us. (They\u2019re still doing it!) The infamous spoiled First Brat really owned that <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hunter_Biden_laptop_controversy\">laptop<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/world\/us\/from-beyonce-to-oprah-how-much-kamala-harris-campaign-spent-on-celebrity-endorsement\/articleshow\/116193194.cms\">Celebrities<\/a> were paid millions to endorse certain candidates. Bank records easily trace the illegal &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/oversight.house.gov\/release\/comer-releases-direct-monthly-payments-to-joe-biden-from-hunter-bidens-business-entity%EF%BF%BC\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">donations<\/a>&#8221; for political favors. I could ramble on but you know what I mean. Despite all the evidence why are we still divided in our politics? I don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s because we&#8217;re waiting for the final verdict on what is true. Just like the OJ Simpson triaI, our worldview will decide what we want to believe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More than point fingers, I\u2019m interested in understanding the flaws of human nature which  explain the repetition of the characters in the Gospel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The religious leaders are today\u2019s power-hungry hypocritical politicians.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The noisy clueless manipulated mob are today\u2019s self-righteous demonstrators who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=pLXSotkY1oU&amp;feature=youtu.be\">destroy property<\/a>. It&#8217;s interesting that these Tesla destroyers hate Elon Musk for exposing corruption. And their illogical reasoning thinks they&#8217;re hurting MAGA owners while (I think) most of the Teslas belong to green revolution liberals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The abusive Roman guards are today\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=pLXSotkY1oU&amp;feature=youtu.be\">ex-FBI operatives<\/a> who followed blindly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The guards who were instructed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/compare\/MAT.28.12-15\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">to lie<\/a> about the resurrected body of Christ are today\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/ijpor\/article\/36\/1\/edad044\/7503112\">mainstream media<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The traitor Judas (who realized he was guilty) is <a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/ijpor\/article\/36\/1\/edad044\/7503112\">Lindy Li<\/a> (the former Democrat Fund raiser who is spilling the beans about the party she defended her whole life).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Except for the Satanists and powerful evil men (and women), most of us would like to think that we\u2019re on the <em>good side<\/em>. Of course we have a string of reasons to justify our stand. But how can we really know we&#8217;re fighting for the right cause?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If I may, here\u2019s my checklist to determine if we\/you have the personality to be on the wrong side:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Are you stubborn? Do you reject other points of views? Do you dare not even listen?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do you name call? When you cannot defend your beliefs, do you start to label people to distract away from the issues?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is your family or loved one&#8217;s lifestyle the primary reason for changing your moral values? <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is your value system shaped by someone you respect? ie. you&#8217;re too lazy to do the research and allow others to give you your marching orders?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are you concerned more about your reputation (what will people think?) rather than what is true? <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have you ever admitted to your mistakes? Do you fear people laughing at your wrong choices? Would you rather die than admit defeat?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This is certainly not an extensive list. I\u2019m pretty sure I may have offended some of you but there is no joy in doing that. Some things just need to be said or people will hide their valuable insights under the rug instead of learning from each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Have you heard of a \u201c<strong>culture of disingenuousness<\/strong>?\u201d It&#8217;s also called the \u201c<strong>spiral of dishonesty<\/strong>.\u201d It\u2019s a situation where nobody wants to be honest, leading everyone to do what they don\u2019t want. Let\u2019s not lead our society towards that direction &#8212; fearful of retaliation rather than encouraging honest dialogues that lead to mutual success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But this is just me.
