ADAM: <\/strong>Well, this is a fine mess you got us into.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EVE: I<\/strong> got us into?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You asked me to bite that apple!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So if I ask you to bite me, you’d bite me? Ouch!!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, I would! (snickers)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You’re not the one I should have married!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not the one?! Not the one?! I’m the ONLY one! Besides, I came here first! You’re supposed to be helping me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SUPPOSED to?! SUPPOSED to?! Why? Because I’m a WOMAN?
Henceforth, I want to be a MAN!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You’re kidding, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No. I’m dead serious! I believe I am a man so address me as he\/they\/them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whatever for?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want to assert my independence from your male-dominated world!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My WHAT world?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For years you have been bragging how much stronger you are than me. You go having fun hunting while I stay home and wash the \u2026 the \u2026 leaves! And you come in the cave with your dirty feet!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We haven’t invented shoes yet!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, you need to wash your feet before coming in our cave!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And what? Not bring in dirt on a dirty cave floor?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

See?! See what you’re doing? You don’t understand me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You’re right. I don’t understand you! Why are you always complaining?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Starts to cry)<\/em> I’m so unhappy. Our marriage is in shambles. My body’s changing and my stomach’s getting bigger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, you shouldn’t have eaten that mammoth all by yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

0h, so now that I’m getting fat, you don’t love me anymore! (Cries buckets)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aww honey \u2026 sweetheart \u2026 you know you’re literally the ONLY ONE for me. Fat or thin, man or woman, sad or angry, you’re still my one and only. I love you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Sigh!) <\/em>I love you too. I guess I just needed attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C’mon baby, let’s make babies. C’mon honey, let’s make bunnies \u2026 let’s pro-cre-ate! (wink! wink!)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In today’s world full of angry protests, I think we’ve forgotten that we’re on the same expedition of life. Everyone is rushing up the mountain of power and pushing everyone else down. We should know it’s lonely on top of the mountain. Why would we want to go there?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s easy to complain and to destroy. It takes maturity to uplift and find solutions. It takes a split second to lash out, a minute to apologize, but takes years to heal. All of us have been hurt. Is it possible we just want to be heard? What if we start listening to each other’s hurt? What if we take a chance and forgive without expecting an apology?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Am I na\u00efve to propose this? What’s your solution?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
