Raoul’s Two Cents: July 1, 2022

A month and a half

A lot of things can happen in a month and a half. Indeed, in the month and a half that I’ve been away to take care of my Dad, it feels like I’ve been to the moon and back.

If you are among the many who have wondered where your Friday emails went, I explained this in the Travelingboy.com website. In fact, if I disappear again with my TGIF emails, go to Travelingboy.com and it will usually post things about my whereabouts. If you want to know about my traveling adventures, I posted two long articles about my trip and the city I lived in for a month and a half.

I hoped to finish this edition earlier but jet lag got the best of me. In fact, I’m too woozy to expound on anything else. I just want to make you smile today.

TGIF people!

Raoul

Welcome Back, we missed you. Hope your Dad is OK. More important you make him smile. There is nothing better than a Son caring for his Dad. Take care and God Bless.

Good to have you back. I figured you were still gone while I was having my no laugh Fridays.

I did forward the cartoons today; they were really funny.

Is your father better? Holding his own?

You wanna do coffee or lunch or breakfast someday? My calendar is clearing up in late October, how about you? ha!

It might be fun…then again it could be a real drag. I’m up for experimenting.

Hope your dad is okay. I enjoyed your travel story, btw. Travel to the provinces excluding those with direct flights from LAX are very stressful.

    Welcome back!

    Welcome back!

Your Joke of the Week left my wanting more; more pepper. Kim’s “Fragrance” Joke was funnier – but tasteless…..

I wondered where you had been the past 1-1/2 months. I really missed my “Friday Fix”!

I’m glad it wasn’t because of something wrong with you. I’m also glad that you had this chance to visit and take care of your dad. Those are precious times, indeed. I visited my mom in Skilled Nursing weekly – and called her every night – before the Lord took her home in January 2021. My dad’s been gone now for 8-1/2 years – and I still miss them both!

Thank you for all the work you’ve done over the years for TGIF Joke. Enjoy whatever vacation you may have – and have a blessed Friday as well. “Hi” to Jackie for me!

    In Christ,

    Cheryl
