Interesting. Years ago my wife and I went to visit a grammar school (Mayberry Elementary in Echo Park / Silverlake – L.A.) friend in Paradise, CA. Steve, he tended to be a real skeptic about things. So I was really surprised when he told us that he was a dowser. He demonstrated it to us and even had my wife and one of our kids do it! It didn’t work for me. But the look on my wife’s face when the rods started turning in her unwilling hands convinced me! He learned how to do it from an old man that found a well for him on his property.

Another water story . Last week I saw an interview of a woman that was just released from prison after 40 years of being incarcerated. One of the questions the journalist (Amy Goodman) asked her in the interview, the answer to which surprised me, and made me think.

Q.: What is the biggest surprise or change you have seen since being released?

A.: I am surprised how everybody has to buy drinking water. When I was young drinking from the tap was not a problem, but after playing fun hard games was a real treat! What happened? Kind of snuck up on us, and we take it for granted. However not in Flint, Michigan where they have plenty of water – just the dangerous kind for the kids sadly.

Good thing the Christian community and Rotary continues to build wells.

Great issue especially the video about Filipinos and the Daniel Prayer. I never knew about Billy Grahams Daughter but she even looks like him. The Drawings are great as well, thanks for sharing Raoul.

Wow… That was a great to hear about the history of when Filipinos first started migrating to North America. I’m really surprised about the timeline I never dreamt that they came here that early this should be common knowledge I don’t believe it’s taught in school because I never heard about it.
