He recorded “Under Milkwood” in New York. He loved American audiences, especially those who would pay his way. His marriage was a disaster. But, all in all, his writing, and more so, his recoded readings are a treasure. I own a vinyl recording of “Under Milkwood.” It requires that I listen to it annually at least.
