The missing ex wife story comes from an old "Bert and I” routine.

Bert and I is a Maine institution as much as Prairie Home Companion in MN.

Here’s a clip of a classic, but I could't find a clip of the "Set ‘er again" story.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrwTHKjgQ9M

My best to your family.

Best regards,

Hi, Raoul. Darn, I recall having a Bob Caparas in one of my freshman classes at UP. Sure enough, I was able to confirm that it was him when I clicked on the links. I've forgotten the course, but we were at opposing teams in a debating session the subject of which was: Jose Rizal or Andres Bonifacio: who should be the Philippine National hero? He was on the Rizal side, and I, on the Bonifacio side. The debate was very spirited. One of the quotes he made: "Filipinos are Spanish in names, but American in dreams", stuck with me forever--- i don't know why! I think it ended up a tie because we ran out of time; there were 3 members in each team.

He was a tall guy, if I recall right. And he used to wear sandals. And he was a Kapampangan [ie. came from a province named Pampanga].

Anyway, I just want to share this with you. It also brought back fond memories of college. For me, the time I spent with YSAC, was perhaps the most life affirming social experience that essentially formed my philosophy of life.

Take care and best regards.

I see first hand how much you care about and support the people you value. It's the best thing on your menu, not to mention all your others attributes. I'm still laughing about the drunken cat. That must have been computer-generated. If not that cats an alcoholic.
