This reminds me of my many, many walks on Ogunquit beach in Maine. It is probably the least exotic and my most walked beach, but I didn't think of it for the article. One day, after a storm on my daily walk, I spied a ship's hull in the sand. A local, my neighbor, said it was a rare sighting of one of the old barges sunk to preserve the sand dunes many years before. Sweet memory - thanks for reminding me of it.
