For Germany, it was: New York, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the five most popular flight destinations for French residents were found to be: New York, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco and New York JFK.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14371\" src=\"https:\/\/travelingboy.com\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Golden-Gate-Bridge.jpg\" alt=\"Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco\" width=\"850\" height=\"478\" srcset=\"https:\/\/travelingboy.com\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Golden-Gate-Bridge.jpg 850w, https:\/\/travelingboy.com\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Golden-Gate-Bridge-600x337.jpg 600w, https:\/\/travelingboy.com\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Golden-Gate-Bridge-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/travelingboy.com\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Golden-Gate-Bridge-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In addition to the flight search data, 2,500 travellers from each of the other four countries \u2013 all of whom have been on vacation to the United States at least once in the past five years \u2013 were asked for their opinions about their experiences.<\/p>\n<p>When asked what their favourite thing was about going on holiday to the USA, those from the United Kingdom stated \u2018sightseeing\u2019 (36%) \u2018the food\u2019 (28%), and \u2018the music and sporting events\u2019 (23%).<\/p>\n<p>For people from France, the food was their favourite thing about America (38%), whilst Germans preferred the culture (29%), and the Spanish enjoyed sightseeing (28%). When asked what they liked the least about going on vacation to the United States, the most common responses from those from the UK were found to be \u2018the people\u2019 (30%), \u2018the price\u2019 (26%) and \u2018the number of other tourists\u2019 (22%).<\/p>\n<p>Both the French and German respondents also cited \u2018the people\u2019 as their least favourite thing about visiting the United States, whilst the Spanish cited \u2018overcrowding\u2019 as their least favourite.<\/p>\n<p>Asked whether they would visit again, less than two fifths of those from the UK (39%) said that they wouldn\u2019t, even though the majority (71%) said that they had a good time there. When asked why they wouldn\u2019t return, the most popular reason why was found to be that \u2018the costs are too high\u2019 (44%).<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the findings of the study, a spokesperson for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.us.jetcost.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.us.jetcost.com<\/a>, said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are so many places in the United States that are on peoples\u2019 bucket lists, and it\u2019s not that surprising that New York was the most searched for destination from all the countries in the study.
