Yep!\u00a0 The clock is ticking every day of our lives.\u00a0 If someone instilled the ability in you to plan ahead for an event or your future, you\u2019re one of the lucky ones.<\/p>\n

Here are the seven P\u2019s: Prior Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance<\/strong>.\u00a0 I make lists for things I want to accomplish.\u00a0 \u00a0This list is above my desk and when I finish something, I can cross it off my \u201cTo Do List.\u201d\u00a0 I call this, \u201cSlaying a dragon.\u201d\u00a0 I enjoy marking off projects as I complete them because it makes me feel powerful.<\/p>\n Then there\u2019s something called the \u201cAction Board.\u201d\u00a0 You split a bulletin board into three equal parts.\u00a0 The left third is for projects to be done immediately. The middle third is for things to be done as soon as possible.\u00a0 The last third is for projects that require more planning or materials to complete the project.<\/p>\n If you utilize this type of bulletin board, it will help you to become more focused and goal orientated.\u00a0 The board should be the first thing you see in the morning and the last thing you see at night. Never put off until tomorrow what you can accomplish today.<\/p>\n I began ironing very young and my mother always told me to do the hardest piece of clothing first.\u00a0 I still do the hardest thing first no matter what the project is.<\/p>\n Getting up early and giving yourself enough time to eat, dress and prepare for your day with time to spare is a powerful thing.\u00a0 If you walk outside to go to work and find you have a flat tire, it\u2019s no problem because you have time on your side.<\/p>\n I\u2019d much rather be early than to arrive late for any event.\u00a0 How you use your time makes a huge statement about who you are.\u00a0 When you interact with someone who is organized and follows through on his or her work, it is impressive.\u00a0 What message do you want to convey to others?<\/p>\n And remember this: If you can\u2019t sleep, get up and do something.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Yep!\u00a0 The clock is ticking every day of our lives.\u00a0 If someone instilled the ability in you to plan ahead for an event or your future, you\u2019re one of the lucky ones.
