All of us are a \u201cWork in Progress\u201d, we just don\u2019t know that soon enough because if we did, we\u2019d be kinder to ourselves. Forgiveness can and should apply to ourselves as well as others.<\/p>\n
Forgiveness is the gift that keeps on giving.\u00a0 Holding a grudge is one of the worst things you can do because it hurts you more than it does others.\u00a0 Besides that, everyone knows someone who\u2019s not talking to somebody.\u00a0 And, when you ask them why \u2013 <\/strong>they can\u2019t even remember what they\u2019re upset about!\u00a0 Translation; its negative energy and it\u2019s bad for everyone, especially YOU.<\/p>\n When you ask someone for forgiveness and they say they can\u2019t do that, then you need to realize that you can (and should) do this for yourself.\u00a0 \u00a0Once you decide to forgive someone or yourself and move on with your life and times, you shouldn\u2019t repeat the behavior that created the situation.<\/p>\n Most people appreciate face to face conversations because besides your words, there\u2019s your body language that\u2019s speaking even when you don\u2019t realize it.\u00a0 The written word (texting) can easily be misinterpreted and it actually takes much longer than a phone call.\u00a0 And, if you press SEND before you\u2019ve re-read the message, you can\u2019t take it back.<\/p>\n And then there\u2019s Gossip, the worst possible situation to get yourself into.\u00a0 Walking away from gossip is the best possible answer, because just listening gives gossip power.\u00a0 The person being talked about has no chance to defend themselves and you\u2019ll most likely become the next topic of conversation if you participate.<\/p>\n Avoiding situation\u2019s that make you uncomfortable is a smart and intuitive action to take.\u00a0 Critical thinking can really help you to avoid getting yourself into a bad situation.\u00a0 If you can \u201crun\u201d the scenario in your head and sense that it\u2019s not something that\u2019s going to have a positive outcome or \u00a0might hurt you or others, you can avoid the situation and move on.<\/p>\n Avoiding an emotional train wreck is a very good thing.\u00a0 And, you\u2019ll sleep much better too!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" All of us are a \u201cWork in Progress\u201d, we just don\u2019t know that soon enough because if we did, we\u2019d be kinder to ourselves.
