In reply to C. J. Cota. Yes, Africa was abused by their colonizers and greedy fellow Africans. As for Hawaii, I think colonization has nothing to do with what happened recently. The conspiracy theory is that it was intentionally burned down by rich oligarchs like Zuckerberg to convert that land into somethiin commercial. An even weirder conspiracy is that it was set on fire by UFOs. Who knows?

I appreciate your Rotary Intl. recollections. Africa took a beating from European and Muslin slave traders. To add insult to injury, many Africans were sold into slavery by their own people – Chiefs that wanted them out of Africa. It confirms that the “heart of man is evil beyond of belief.” Where did I read that? From the one that created – EVERYTHING.
A question for you. Did Hawaii being a colony for so many years contribute to the inferno that just happened?
