New York Frame of Mind
I’m in New York. So this email has been prepared a little earlier this week. I will probably share my adventures next week. For now I hope your Friday will be awesome!
The first time I was here was back in my college days. I visited my older brother who invited me to join him and his girlfriend’s “old rich” grandmother who lived in Park Avenue. We also went to Cooperstown in upstate New York. All I remember was snow and more snow in this vast land. I remember asking my brother who owned all of this land. He said it belonged to his girlfriend’s family. I was too dumb to realize how wealthy they were. I do remember that all of them were very accommodating and down to earth. Good people.
Over the years so many tall magnificent buildings seem to have sprouted from the ground up. I should have bought property then. Of course I didn’t have any money … but I should have bought property still. Story of my life. I suppose it’s the story of your life as well; nice to be among poor kindred spirits. Till next time my friend.
TGIF people!
