Thankful for No Snow

Raoul’s Two Cents: June 27, 2025

There’s been a lot of talk about war these past weeks — violence here in the US, Europe, Russia, and the Middle East. Many spread rumors with fake authority turning their victims into nervous wrecks.

If you are familiar with the Matrix movie, there are two worlds that co-exist – the blue pill world and the red pill world. Our world (where we exist) is supposed to be the blue pill world — a façade – a fake but more palatable world. On the other hand, the red pill world is the dark reality of the evil around us. Given a choice, what pill would you take?

What if I told you that these two worlds actually exist? Shocked?! Grab your popcorn.

GOOD GUYS

In a battlefield not too far from us are two soldiers in a foxhole.

Of course this is just me trusting that God is in control. Relax. TGIF people!

“You must not fight too often with one enemy, or you will teach him all your art of war.” — Napoleon Bonaparte

“Men love war because it allows them to look serious. Because they imagine it is the one thing that stops women laughing at them.” — John Fowles

“Terrorism is a psychological warfare. Terrorists try to manipulate us and change our behavior by creating fear, uncertainty, and division in society.” — Patrick J. Kennedy

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” — Ephesians 6:12

If more people had faith, things would go better. Good food for thought.

Do you remember the 70’s band War? They were kind of disco. Certainly soul.

Yes, we all feel we are in a foxhole and explosions are all around us.

Fear of war is part of the human makeup. We are scared creatures.

Don’t you think that is why we need the Lord and the Holy Father?

Are we to crawl like children and cry to our Mommies for our food or a hug?

Wake up, people. It’s the real world. Not fake news or propaganda.
