The Aftermath

The rippling effects of the elections early this month is still expanding. I feel sorry for the losing side. I really do. Many of them can’t seem to handle the defeat with dignity. Strangely, some even made selfies of themselves losing it. It must be hard for them to realize they were the minority. True to their word, many of the elites are fleeing the country. It’s understandable why many were desperate to win. Many in government are now anxious about losing their comfortable high paying jobs because their racket will soon be exposed. There’s a lesson waiting to be discovered.

I like to believe we will calm down eventually. Remember, we are all Americans.

I think of this scenario:

Door opens. Two friends walk in. Door shuts.

Why did you vote for him!!! I can’t believe he won!! How can people be so stupid?!? Don’t they know he’s going to end the world as we know it? Don’t they know he’s a convict? A rapist! A narcissist?

I guess we didn’t think so.

He’s going to destroy our economy! He’s going to end all of our environmental policies! He’s going to kill mother earth! He’s going to end women’s rights!

I think you’re exaggerating.

But nobody likes him! Beyonce doesn’t like him! George Clooney doesn’t like him! Ellen de Genres, Ophra, Le Bron, Sharon Stone, Mark Hamill, Alyssa Milano, Jamie Lee Curtis, Stephen King, Barbara, Don Lemon, Guillermo del Toro, Eva, Cher, Whoopi, Miley, Bryan, Lena, Samuel, Meryl, Jimmy, Arnold, Stephen, Bruce, and … and ..

Ah, everyone’s entitled to their opinion.

I’m going to shave my head, pluck off my eyebrows, hold my breath …

Nah, you’re not gonna do that.
