By Fyllis Hockman
in :  Travel USA

Ithaca is a "gorges" city, and with 150 waterfalls within a 10-mile radius, it comes by its moniker honestly. Within the city limits itself, a one-third mile hike uphill - the Cascadilla Gorge Trail -- was not only exhilarating because of the trek itself, but for the vastness and variety of six different freely flowing floes of cascading waterfalls.

Yes, food is the spice of life, and we asked our members to list their favorite state destinations for pleasures of the palate. It's fun for our readers to see another side of our writers, who have been delivering original content not found anywhere else on the globe.

A Taste of the Garden Island of Kaua’i

By Ringo Boitano

Raven Synchronicities in Banff

By Gary Singh
in :  Travel USA

Vacationers paraded up and down the finely-swept sidewalks. They wore shorts, pushed double-strollers, devoured ice cream and took photos of the cranky mountain peaks. A seemingly endless traffic jam of car-jeep-crossovers-green, maroon, black, red or blue-but all very outdoorsy-looking and many with canoes or kayaks strapped to their tops, honked every two seconds, each making illegal left turns or looking for parking where there wasn't any.
