Height Problem

Early Christmas Present

I'm a simple man. I don't go crazy over money. To me, money is there to pay bills. I'm not a slave to it and what it can buy.

A few months ago however, I was concerned that I had so many new unexpected bills to pay that distrupted my budget and wondered how it would affect my holiday expenditures.

I believe that everything that we own comes from God and so when we are blessed it is only right to give back. So, I decided to give to my favorite charities both in cash and in volunteer opportunities. I did caricatures for at least 5 different non-profits --- all proceeds went to charity. One night, I held a deep breath and signed a few checks away, trusting that God would provide ... after all that was/is one promise He made --- He actually encouraged us to test Him. Look it up (Malachi 3:10). And you know what? He did keep his promise because somehow the shortfall was covered within a month. I don't even remember how or where but somehow He did ... God kept His promise. And I am in awe because I don't deserve this kindness.

Like you, I will soon be opening up presents under the Christmas tree; but this time, God's gift to me came a little early.

Two thousand years ago He surprised us when Christ was born. Today He's surprising me by helping me pay my silly bills.

TGIF and, from my family to yours, Merry Christmas!
