Merry Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Did you miss me last Friday? I'm sorry I could not send out my TGIF mail a week ago. I was still in Nigeria and there was no internet connection in the village I was in.

Glad to be back. Thanks for your prayers. Still very tired from the Nigerian trip. Catching up with all the backlog that piled up while I was away ... doing one thing at a time and not rushing.

I am creating an article about my trip and will let you know when it is ready.

As far as the trip goes, it was very successful. The Nigerians we met were so warm and happy. They treated us like kings. Some women would even genuflect everytime they greeted us. We taught about 1,800 college kids from 2 educational institutions. After (and sometimes even before) every session I did caricatures and there was always a long line. I calculated that I must have drawn over 120 caricatures. I ran out of ink so I had to just use charcoal pencils.

I'm feeling sleepy from the jetlag so I need to sign off. Merry Christmas! What a perfect day for my TGIF to reach you on this special day.

   Peace!
